A History of  The Illuminati

In some instances, unbeknownst to us, they're hidden and subliminal, while othertimes they are very noticeable and blunt. Regardless of their subtle or direct nature, symbols and hand gestures are currently being used twenty four hours a day, seven days a week by the Illuminati in its' quest to control our minds.

In Codex Magica, Texe Marrs quotes essayist Henry Makow who said:

"The world is a contest for our souls. The people who are pushing     proudcts, violence, and sex are not operating on a random 'whatever sells' basis. They have Masonic symbols in their logos. The top players are following an occult script designed to enslave us body and soul. They are building a gigantic prison based on their own mental hell. This is the new world order; we are the inmates" (Marrs p.9)

The Illuminati was founded by Adam Weishaupt on May 1, 1776. The majority of the information that is passed on to members of the Illuminati descended from pre-illuminati organizations. Before the rise of the Illuminati, there was the emergence of the Freemasons in the late 1500s; the Knights Templar sect was prominent in the 1100s and prior to the rise of these two organizations, secret societies that possessed secret knowledge had existed (Dice 15). Going back to the definitions of conspiracy theory and propaganda, while keeping in mind their harmonizing relationship, we are able to gain some insight into the foundation, the principles, the objectives as well as the ultimate goals that guide the Illuminati. When founding the Illuminati, Weishaupt wrote:

"By this plan, we shall direct all mankind. In this manner and by the simplest means, we shall set all in motion and in flames. The occupations must be so allotted and contrived, that we may, in secret, influence all political transactions. This can be done in no other way but by secret associations, which will by degrees, and in silence posses themselves of the goverment of the states, and make use of those means for this purpose..." (Dice p.29)

The word "Illuminati" derives from the plural of Latin "illuminatus" which means enlightened, and it is defined as the name given to persons possessing or claiming to possess superior enlightenment (http://reality-bytes.hubpages.com/hub/Illuminati-Control-Of-Politics-The-Music-Industry-The-Media-The-Movie-Industry). Unlike Christians, who believe in God and hold that one can only be saved by believing in Jesus Christ, members of the Illuminati practice Luciferianism or Satanism and believe one is saved by acquiring the secret knowledge. When understanding Satanism, it is important to acknowledge the differences between atheistic satanism and theistic satanism. Followers of atheisitic satanism "profess that they are atheists and dont believe in a literal Devil or even God; they don't believe in an afterlife or a Heaven or Hell, either" (Dice p.17), while those who practice theistic satanism believe in a God, a Devil, supernatural beings and the idea that "Satan came to the Garden of Eden to save Adam and Eve and mankind from ignorance, and that God didn't want them to have the knowledg because then they wouldn't be his slaves...God is the oppressor and the evil one, and Satan is seen as the hero and savior" (Dice p.18).

The word "Lucifer", interchangeable with Satan, means light bearer in Latin (Dice 19), and explains why Luciferians consider the Devil to be one of good will as well as the supplier of knowledge. Members of the Illuminati believe it is this hidden knowledge that will transform them into supernatural "god-like" creatures, while simultaneously helping them achieve their ultimate goal of conquering the world. Luciferians rely on out-right lies, deceit, manipulation, stealing, murder, violence, discrete hand gestures, and symbols to help them keep the unconscious masses from discovering these forbidden truths, for Weishaupt believed "...only those who are assuredly proper subjects shall be picked out from among the inferior classes for the higher mysteries" (Dice 30) of the world.

Symbolism is defined as the art or practice of using symbols especially by investing things with a symbolic meaning or by expressing the invisible or intangible by means of visible or sensous representations as 1)an artistic imitation or invention that is a method of revealing or suggesting immaterial, ideal, or otherwise intangible truth or states or through 2) the use of conventional or traditional signs in the representation of divine beings and spirits. In our Introduction, we asked whether the Illuminati was a conspiracy theory, propanda or both? By defining the meaning of both terms, we were able to understand as well as uncover the relationship that exists between the two. Fueled by the desire to seize power of the world, the Illuminati is attempting to control money, wealth, and the population of planet earth. (http://reality-bytes.hubpages.com/hub/Illuminati-Control-Of-Politics-The-Music-Industry-The-Media-The-Movie-Industry) This secret organization successfully employs propaganda as the driving force to help it manipulate how people think, change people's perception of the world and trick people into behaving in ways that are benefical to their overall agenda.

In their academic text, Stanley Baran & Dennis Davis quote J. Michael Sproule who stated "effective propaganda is covert: it 'persuades people without seeming to do so' (p.3); features 'the massive orchestration of communication' (p.4); and empasizes 'tricky language designed to discourage reflective thought' (p.5)" (Baran & Davis p.76). With the desire to reign over society embedded in their minds, the Illuminate developed a grandeur yet subtle maneuver, which included the use of master symbols, to disseminate their ideas into the minds of the masses. Master symbols are defined as "symbols that are associated with strong emotions and possess the power to stimulate large-scale mass action" (Baran & Davis p.84). Harold Laswell, a renowned prolific thinker, argued that organizations like the Illuminati who are in pursuit of victoriously orchestrating social movements, achieve this objective by sluggishly delivering their subliminal messages through various media outlets. Laswell heavily emphasized the need to use different media and he argued:

"The form in which the significant symbols are embodied to reach the public may be spoken, written, pictorial, or musical, and the number of stimulus carriers is infinite. If the propagandist identifies himself imaginitively with the life of his subjects in a particular situation, he is able to explore several channels of approah. Consider, for a moment, the people who ride the street cars. They may be reached by placards posted inside the car, by posters on the billboards along the track, by newspapers which they read, by conversations which the overhear, by leaflets which are openly or surreptitiously slipped into their hands, by street demonstrations at halting places, and no doubt by other means. Of these possible occasions there are no end (1927b, p.631)" (Baran & Davis p. 84)

By critically analyzing and deconstructing some of the top symbols and hand gestures of the Illuminate, we will see how the elite organization uses images and signs to hide and darken their corrupt schemes and evil-doings.
